Fic Rush 48

Hour.

I'm finishing up that pesky epilogue.  I think I might actually get it done!  What are you doing?

This is NOT the Final Hour, because we sneakily started early, so by consensus we have two hours left instead of one!

Please beware of poisoned confetti as you head for the fish, I mean the finish line.  The antidote is brewing in the teapot.  We ♥ the teapot.

lost_spook  has won the internets for today.

MacGyver has fallen in love with the teapot, but he managed to defuse the chair before it blew up.  (He did not diffuse it.  That would have been a side-effect of the explosion.)

The alien fish are plotting world domination, and the singing Sontarans have gone off to rehearse for their upcoming Broadway musical.

And we need the Doctor to help us decide whether to go to Hour 48 or Hour 49, since we started out with our time slightly cracked (and we have since followed suit ourselves, although most of us started out that way anyhow).  If the Doctor is not available, we must ask his fans for their opinion.  Other opinions also equally welcome.

Another hour gone already!  Did anyone actually write anything last hour, or are we too busy distracting each other with badinage and persiflage?

OMG, we're in the home stretch!

When the round ends, I'll post a 'brag post' in thefic_rush  comm, so everyone who has participated at any point in the weekend can declare their final victory, and be cheered and applauded.  Vuvuzelas optional.

Also, please send me links to anything you finish and post, and I'll add them to the fic_rush  gallery.  It doesn't matter if you finish it after the 'rush weekend is over, as long as you worked on it during the 'rush.  (There will be another reminder of all this at the end.)
