Round 10 Hour 47

lost_spook  has won the internets for today.

MacGyver has fallen in love with the teapot, but he managed to defuse the chair before it blew up.  (He did not diffuse it.  That would have been a side-effect of the explosion.)

The alien fish are plotting world domination, and the singing Sontarans have gone off to rehearse for their upcoming Broadway musical.

And we need the Doctor to help us decide whether to go to Hour 48 or Hour 49, since we started out with our time slightly cracked (and we have since followed suit ourselves, although most of us started out that way anyhow).  If the Doctor is not available, we must ask his fans for their opinion.  Other opinions also equally welcome.

I had to explain the difference between diffuse and defuse to my boss, who is from Finland, the other day.

She was ...quite concerned... about the practicality of diffusing a bomb.

I have accomplished neither writing nor math in the past hour... I was revising the icon meme so that I don't have to have someone else pick six of my icons in order to post them, because I can never get anyone to do that.
