Well nobody else posted, so I guess I'll continue my usurpation.

How's the writing coming? Any progress made? Anybody still in food comas after yesterday?

In some versions of the universe, time flows forward in an orderly fashion, and Round 21 is over.

Boooooooring.

We also have an unused Hour 46 still hanging around, and why let it go to waste?  They get stale rather quickly when you try to store them, after all.

Still inspired?  Still writing?  Feel free to hang out here, in the [livejournal.com profile] fic_rush comm, as long as you wish!  This extra-special Super Deluxe Hour 46 comes with new patent Elastic Minutes [TM] and can be stretched to suit your needs.  We shall leave plenty of cookies, tea with honey, emergency backup stunt zombies, and FTL Rescue Penguins for you.  Simply ring the bell.

When you're done, be sure to drop in on the wrap-up post on the main comm and share the glee at all you've accomplished!

Unless time has actually started to go backwards, this is the final hour of this round!  Have the alpha readers sent in their future concrit on the fic we will have written?  Shall we accomplish wonders of wordcountedness?  Does anyone need cookies?

We also have a lovely unused Hour 46 still in the original packaging, which we can leave open after the round officially ends for anyone who wants to get more writing done.

How goes it?

Hurrah!  It is Hour 47, a most wonderful hour in which we may accomplish many amazing things!

The first amazing thing is that it is not Hour 46.  I looked over the list and saw that we had Hour 32 twice, which has thrown us off.

Anyway, I'm actually posting.  Yay!  I have yet to accomplish anything productive this week beyond simply being around, but we have to start somewhere.

How are you doing?  Do we need to send the FTL Rescue Penguins to assist you?  Fetch soap for an invocation of the Shower Muse?  Bake cookies?  Cookies are always good.

Let's count the words we wrote in the last hour, and then try to beat them this hour! Yay! It will be a fun game!

Or in my case, not especially difficult. Some characters got changed into dry clothes in one entirely discreet sentence. D'oh. I bet I can write more than that!

Go go, Hour 45!
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
We're counting down the final hours now! It's time for that last push - whatever you need to do to throw aside the distractions and crunch out some words/revisions/what-have-you. Go go go!
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Here we are at Hour 43! We're getting into the tail end but there are still some good productive hours left to get through before we're done. What distractions do you need cleared away with a flamethrower for Hour 43 success?
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
It is the hour of cake. Apple cranberry gluten-free vegan cake! Also the hour of the meaning of life. How are we doing?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
How goes the battle? Last hour we had a few people who were closing in on endings, which is most exciting! How are your weekend's word counts shaping so far? Are things that need to be revised getting revised? Will time travel advisories be listed for the earlier hours of the rush because so many of us stampede back there to get more done? Did we make the most of the extra time we've been borrowing from Round 12?
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Are we ready for Hour 40? Are we ready for Hour 401? Well we'd better be, because it's here. Here's your last eight hours. Make it count!

And remember the immortal wisdom: Better a fleeting muse than a floating mouse!
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Round 21, Hour 39. The Thirty-Nine Steps is a classic novel of mystery and intrigue. Will you be producing the next classing in Hour 39?
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Hour 38! Ten more to go. Let's get our mojo working and our pens and/or/most probably keyboards flying. Because flying keyboards are so much more useful than flying fish.
[identity profile] pitry.livejournal.com
In days past, this hour would be very quiet due to people watching Doctor Who in it. Are we still infested with so many DW fans? Will there be people here to share my loneliness (and fic)?
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
This is my last hour as substitute teacher. Please leave your desks tidy and don't forget to form an orderly line as you enter Hour 25. Also, please let me know if you want to word war for the last twenty minutes of hour 25 and we'll have a little productivity push.
[identity profile] pitry.livejournal.com
I'm about to hit 100k on this ridiculous thingie.

Go on - share with us the stories of the mad word counts you never though you'd achieve!
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Twenty-twenty-twenty-four hours to gooo... I wanna be productive!

We had some shift changes as people woke up and other people went to bed in Hour 23. [livejournal.com profile] sidlj opened A Document, thus Preventing Catastrophe. What's afoot for Hour 24?
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Welcome, welcome, to the 23rd Hour. During the last hour, people reported Actual Genuine Productivity. How's it going this hour? What do you need to roll things forward, keep things flowing, and get those word counts mojo'd up? Fic Rush is the cure for all your writing needs! Fic Rush has also been proven to be effective in countering male-pattern baldness, itchy knee caps, dry mouth, and scrofula. Well, not really, but we do have encouragement, chiding, and occasionally leads on tricky pieces of research available for the asking.
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Hour 22. An hour of in-between, edging close to half way but not quite there. What will you achieve in Hour 22? And how will we explain the build up of penguins, flamingos, and ostriches waiting outside for Hour 23?

And will there, in fact, be a zombie apocalypse, and also is there honey still for tea?
[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/idlewild_/
Hour 21! It is my turn for juntaing! Shall there be wild celebratory automatic weapons fire into the air? No, probably not. We're all too smart for that.

The unifying theme for Round 21 so far is napping. If you have avoided napping, how is your writing going? If you have been napping and relying on FTL writing, have you woken up to any gems from the future?
[identity profile] pitry.livejournal.com
So. Now that all our SN's have 3s in them, it is time to take care of other things.

Like word counts.

Your mission for this hour, should you accept it, is to write between 3 and 33,333 words. Or edit that amount of words.

Please note that the number 3 does not count as a word.
