Round 21, Hour 21

Hour 21! It is my turn for juntaing! Shall there be wild celebratory automatic weapons fire into the air? No, probably not. We're all too smart for that.

The unifying theme for Round 21 so far is napping. If you have avoided napping, how is your writing going? If you have been napping and relying on FTL writing, have you woken up to any gems from the future?

Turns out it didn't thunder after all, so I have been talking about DS9 and trying to get my head unstuffed. Grapefruit juice tastes truly horrible, like liquid cardboard box. :P

I am still pondering crackfic zombie apocalypses. My writing style is somewhere down a hole, but it is an interesting problem...

Pink grapefruit juice is much better. I may be betraying my prejudices if I mention that vodka helps with a lot of things like the taste of grapefruit juice, also.

Probably the Monkees, if I can come up with the right song for the romp. (It's a long and complicated story.) If not, maybe UNIT and the Third Doctor, or maybe some other fandom. I have a lot of fandoms that might do well with cracked-out zombie!fic. ;-)

When you are awake again, I quite passionately want to see your crop of Georgette Heyer icons. I suspect the only reason I survived the hospital stay was that my partner spent most of the long long hours of waiting reading Heyer to me.

Although we did not, in fact, encounter my all-time favourite line, "Permit to mount you while you are in Town."

Heh, well, I wasn't going to upload them until I had more, but I see you are keen, and since those who are unwell must always be given nice treats and so on, I have combined it with some others I had hanging about and there can be found here on my lj. ;-D

They're a bit random - I got most of them off a website, but I was well enough to reread Arabella last week and took some from that. I hope to reread lots of the others now and do some more soon. :-)

I have been surfing the Internetz for research purposes. Honest. I just needed to check a few details about sex magic and the effects of orgasm on the male physiology. Apparently there was some mind-bending Victorian sex magics going on back then.

Haven't written much though. I'm plotting, in between eating bread and butter sandwiches and this concoction of bananas, peanut butter and chocolate.
