Tis midnight...all is quiet. The floors creak as the house settles. The very air seems to hold its breath, awaiting the subtle shift from Today to Tomorrow, that tettering point of Now that has become 'Yesterday': tis the hour of Witchery, Words and Writing, (though some would say there is no difference)...

*Sniffs*

Any and all of the three at once would be marvelous right about now.

Right. Well, I'm all out of my Writey version of batwings and frog hair. Hope everyone else is faring better. How goes the brewing of the Words? Any magick being made, Rushers?

Good morning good morning!! Is anyone awake? Writing? Plotting overthrow of a major world power? Desperately trying to find the clock?

Sorry, sorry, one of my "I have so many feels but this is never going to be canon" ships just became canon and I had to mad flail about it all over the place.

Quick someone send me some words, STAT!

I do declare it time for lunch, if there's anybody out there, help yourself to some mini sandwiches and sausage rolls...

Well, it is nearing lunchtime here, but I would rather have Words at this point instead of Food (and I ADORE Food)! The Musie is being stubborn and the caffiene I have consumed is making me jitterbug whilst sitting still. First World Writing Problems...I haz them.

But I'm hoping you all have made up for my sad lack of sentences, paragraphs and pages! Feel free to inform me, so I can at least break out with the pompoms over here. Will give me something to cheer about and might inspire me to redouble my efforts at motivating the Muse!

Also. There's chocolate. So. Yeah. *Grins*

And now I declare it the hour to run around naked and dance like nobody's watching because on the graveyard shift, nobody is... except me ;)

Lunch has been consumed and I now have a full belly and a sleepy head. Ah well. Win some, lose some. Maybe dozing will lead to daydreaming will lead to Words. It's happened before. *Laughs*

I think I've just about earned my Sunday dinner, don't you?

So. I am not writing. Instead, I am reading a 'Thick of It' fanfic that is set in a post-apocalyptic world and I am enjoying every. darned. second. What can I say? Tortured!Tucker is a guilty pleasure.

I honestly have no idea where or when I came across this fiction. No bleeding clue. But somehow, it is utterly marvelous and makes for a perfect excuse to not Word. You know, as all fanfiction reading (or research) does.

Please tell me none of you are as weak as I - and that you are able to resist the call of 'Read Me!' to produce fictions of your own instead. Of course, I already know your Words will keep this neverending cycle of ficcing/pausing to read/agonizing over ficcing in perpetual motion...but why fight nature? Keeping making awesome things for the rest of us to procrastinate with!!

And tell us of your mighty deeds within this post. It will only be a small distraction. And there are cookies to reward yourself with. :D

Decisions, decisions . . .

Alas (and alack), I have come to my final Hour of Modding for this Round (unless there is a giant power-struggle of Usurpation that I stand a 50/50 of winning). But for the sake of avoiding maths, brain-strain and distractions, we will say it is my last Hour for this Round.

At least there is coffee, yes?

I have managed (astonishingly) 301 Words of a fiction before I stalled out like an old Ford truck (that is to say: abruptly), but I am pleased that I have accomplished these Words, however minimal they may be. Ironically enough, I am one word over the Challenge minimum and could now post it - but it is bare bones as of yet and needs at least another 1000 before I am done. Which may or may not happen before Rush is over, as I still have plenty of this 'Thick of It' fiction to distract myself with (and it is nothing but good bits from end to end).

Do me proud on this last Hour of mine! Fic like you have never ficced before! And share your accomplishments so I can squee over you and spoil you utterly with mounds of cookies! There will be triple bonus points for Research and Outlines this Hour as well - so everyone will win!
