I might have just dropped Fic Rush on the floor, but don't worry, it still looks good as new! No harm done :D

I have my trusty timer ready to go, I'm going to do the old 'ten minute sprint for pile of words' -trick to get my writing mojo back. It's such a bother to lose it, I must say.

It's rather cold and damp weather outside, you see, and nothing brightens the day like some glitter! Or what do you think? Tea and cookies might do the same, as well as a bit of writing... Smutty writing for me, as it happens.

How goes your Saturday?

I have managed lunch, and now I'm enjoying a hot cup of apple & elderflower tea (delicious!). I'm also staring an empty file and a blinking cursor, I don't seem to have any luck luring back my missing writing mojo.

Anyone have some good tips how to get a story rolling? I got chocolate, that might help, do you think?

Everything seems to be going quite swimmingly!  And as your resident mermaid, I do recommend swimming every now and then to find some deep-sea words, but that's neither here nor there.

I figured one helpful tip: close the tv! It was very distracting, the Saturday cooking show parade is too much excitement for this poor writer; all kinds of Masterchefs, Top Chefs, chefs going on adventures, fixing restaurants, eating meat and baking cakes. It's too thrilling! Peace and quiet, please!

Though, it could be worse. There could be the building shows marathon too...

But no, I must stay true to the spirit of Fic Rush, and focus on writing! Telly is closed.

Well, I've had a major breakthrough in my project and realized I was doing WAYYYY more than I needed to.  I might actually get this diorama done for good!

We're lucky that words are not a  finite resourse, because we're stackin' 'em up this weekend!

I've filled in a lot of the slow minutes of this past crazy week reading and getting back in touch with my love of literature. It is nice to have a book that you don't want to put down, can't wait to get back into, and when you finish, you feel a little sorry to close it that last time.

I got a shelf full of those, and I'm working my way through them again! Yay!

What is your go-to book when you want to reread a treasure?

This is my last hour to tease and/or torment you while you're trying to write fic. I'm super-pleased with all the hard work and dedicated procrastination I've seen today (the latter mostly myself!). Time to gear up for the snow we're expecting later tonight. As per usual in Kansas, we expect anything from a trace to mini-ice age.

Hullo, hullo!! Sorry for missing out on my last scheduled posties. lolmac released the ninja-pirates at the beginning of the Round and they got me. With rum. Oh, there was ninjaing and pirating and a touch of ninja-ey-pirating shenanigans. But it kept me away from doing my proper modding - and for that I apologize. *Looks contrite*

Still got a bit of a headache, which could be cured beautifully with more rum (and Words). Alas both seem to be eluding me. The words might yet come with vigorous applications of ibuprofen. But the rum...

*Sigh*

I'm hoping someone can tell me where the rum has gone.

And maybe leave your progress in the Wordage department. Tis good for what ails ya. :D
