Fic Rush 48

I don't have a prompt for this hour, because I just triggered myself on a classic children's picture book. :P This should not be a thing that happens.

Any good news out there in fanfic-land?

Whoops, I got distracted by looking up whether some of my more battered books can be easily replaced secondhand.

In three dozen more hours it will be Hour Positive 18! ...I'm not sure if there's any significance to that. I have a lasagna to finish making, and if my progress on that doesn't speed up a ways, by then it will definitely be bedtime for me.

No, I haven't done any writing. Except posts and comments. I've done a lot of those. XD

Has anyone written any more words? I haven't. ;-) But I've read more words, and sorted a lot more books. How do I have so many books? O_O

In the meantime, I won't be around for Hour -13, so unless someone else dives in (\o/) we're likely to pick up a missing negative hour here and who knows what could happen? We've only ever lost positive hours before. In honour of that and his 49th anniversary, the theme for the rest of the morning (unless another post appears) is therefore Doctor Who.

Please fit him into your fics. He'll just hang about in the background and won't make any trouble at all, you'll barely even notice him, although I admit his appearance could be off-putting in the midst of pr0n, but...

Well, this morning's hours were indeed negative, in that they were entirely theoretical and brought to you unnecessarily, but anyhow...

Greeeeetings Rushers! How goes this fine, only slightly negative, hour?

I actually managed to write some words last night, and today, my partner and I have done some heavy work on the accumulated amount of Stuff that does not actually fit into the kitchen cupboards. We have more to do on that front, but once we've actually whipped the mountain into shape, writing is going to seem much easier by contrast.

Looking over the first negative thirty hours of the Rush, I observe with squeeful glee that there was only one wee small lonely hour that did not get a post! Many cheers to the Emergency Stunt Mods:

I have managed an hourly post, tagging (which involved words and hopefully thus enabling people to find long hidden ficlet-y gems on the previously untagged comm) and cooking. I am hoping for some words before the night is out.

Anyway, this next hour I intend to eat my dinner and watch the final episode of my shaky old 1979 WWII TV series. (If I am distraught by the next hourly post or fail to show, it's because terrible things happened to everybody, or worse they're still only in 1943 (I fear they are) and I'll never know what happened to everybody.)

Anyway, words, words... there must be some somewhere, yes? Let us know if you find some.

Hey fic-rushers. Good to see that so many of us are surviving through the timey-wimey issues the holidays have wrought upon us. How is everyone managing? So far I've spent the pre-fic-rush moving my sister to her new house and cleaning. Currently trying to write with my wrenched shoulder cradled against myself.

Whoops, I'm sorry, I nearly forgot! (I was trying to find out what happened in my WWII series that stopped in 1943, damn the thing).

Fic rushers!!! I have come face to face with my ultimate procrastination enemy: ORGANIZING!!!

I could organize for hours and hours (and already have today, in fact), but no writing happens when the organizing takes me over. Oh noessss.
