Round 35, Hour 3

Hey fic-rushers. Good to see that so many of us are surviving through the timey-wimey issues the holidays have wrought upon us. How is everyone managing? So far I've spent the pre-fic-rush moving my sister to her new house and cleaning. Currently trying to write with my wrenched shoulder cradled against myself.

How is everyone faring? Are there words out there? I've been told there might be words.

First off - OUCH on the shoulder. Hope it feels better.

I just had a turkey sandwich as a light after - Thanksgiving dinner. Trying to marshall my brain into writing mode.

Thank you! I think I just pulled a couple of muscles but I guess that's what I get for moving furniture bigger than me.

I've had lunch and now I'm going back to editing the 2nd fic in my VM/Glee crossover verse cause I think I'm finally ready to post it :D

Ooo, sympathies about the shoulder!!

Most of my day has been occupied with dealwiththekitchen_rush. The stuffcount:

Hours spent so far: 8
Meals eaten during breaks while working: 2

Kitchen cabinets emptied out: all but one (8 out of 9)

Kitchen cabinets sorted: all but one

Drawers emptied out: all of them

Drawers reorganized and now tidy: all of them \o/

Boxes of kitchen stuff hauled in from the utility room that still hadn't been sorted out 2 years after moving in: 6

Boxes of kitchen stuff still unsorted now: 0 \o/

Boxes of stuff ready to go to Goodwill: 4

Boxes ready to re-organize and put back into storage, with different stuff in them: 1 or 2, by the time I'm done

Number of ibuprofen I need to take now: 2

Number of drinks I would like to have now: many

Soreness of my back on a scale of 1-10: 2.5

Smugness of my expression on a scale of 1-10: 10.5

Number of fights my partner and I had while getting all this done: 0 \o/

Awesomeness of my partner on a scale of 1-10: eleventy jillion!!!

YAAAAAAAAY for all of that! Except the back and (indirectly) the ibuprofen, but at least the second cancels out the first. ;-)
