I came home from work and fell asleep. Managing to sleep through the alarm I'd set to wake me up when I was supposed to start posting. 

Hope everybody's fic_rush is going well and I'm glad to see our resident penguins have returned to help our.

Hello once again, Fic_rushers! How goes it?

I have posted, shopped, and rested, and also listened to the end of a radio drama. No words, but there's time for that sort of thing later.

I'm still concerned about the lack of hair-pulling on this comm. It says '48 hours of writing and hair-pulling' up there, and doesn't even mention the penguins/alien fish/glowsticks/bonsai giraffes/poisoned confetti/writerly pasta/pizza/chocolate/coffee/ninja menagerie.

I suppose we'll have to focus on the writing; it's our only hope! Do you have words?

In the last hour, I made 1 icon (no words), and tried and failed to post something on a comm. (I am in the Queue of Doom in a comm without a Mod. For daring to link to the AO3, apparently. *sigh*) This why your post is a teeny bit late here. I hope you have been having better progress and that there have been words?

My last hour! Will it be a big one? Full of word counts? Revisions? Posts launching stories onto the internet with a burst of colourful fireworks?

There is, and I am not even kidding, an actual parade going by outside my window right now. So. That has to make for good writing. (For those not in the United States, this is the Memorial Day weekend, when we remember the sacrifices of American military service people. For the Aussies, like ANZAC day but with less gambling.)
