How goes the writing? Or the procrastinating?

It's probably time for lunch in this neck of the woods, or possibly laundry first.

Anyone else procrastinating from writing or are you all being terribly productive?

Sorry this is a little late. I stopped to do my dishes hoping that it would wake me up. It seemed to work. So how was your hour? Where you productive or did you stare ideally at the page hoping that it's blankness would stop mocking you? Drop me a comment and let me know.

Ooo! My eyes are delighted by all the lovely caps and gifs and craziness filling my FriendsJournal today! I've got dusty old words to tidy up and post on AO3. It's been a while since I made shiny new words, but I'd love to hear all about what's being written.

Hello, I am

pitry And I shall be your, er, host for this fine afternoon. Or evening. Or middle of the night. Or morning. Depends on where you are. And what are your definitions for 'afternoon', really, just the other day I talked with a friend from the UK and suggested we meet up at late afternoon and she went like "Alright, how about three" and I had to go "er, no, I meant our afternoon. Like 6."

ANYWAY. Enough with inane stories. I come bringing little boats (Courtesy of Glinda) to put your Bonsai Giraffes on and send them away. Although, I still need to think how that works with my new name.

The great thing about Fic_Rush is that it spans the world, and somewhere, at any given time, it is breakfast time!

After enjoying cups of virtual coffee, thanks to 'don, I think I may have to have a real cup. Warm afternoons do suit themselves for naps... but I am on duty! Must remain vigilant! *blink blink*

How goes the word wrangling?

Maybe we could do this round robin thing. One person starts the story and the others continue, one or two lines at a time. It will help us share the words.
I'll start:

Once upon a time, there was a giraffe. Not a nasty giraffe, full of spots and antennae, but a bonsai giraffe, who lived on a bonsai banana boat.
