I have actually gotten a bit of writing done in the last twenty minutes!  I'm going to try to keep the momentum going.  How about you?

I think I can finish my writing exercise that I started last rush. I don't think I can get it edited and posted anywhere because that requires a time gap between the last gasp of "oh just put some words there, that'll do it" and the actual clean-up.

Nearly there! Wrapping up the fight scene now.

If I describe someone's chin as dominant, it makes it sound like the person has two chins. A dominant chin and a non-dominant chin. I really want to adjectivize the chin that is getting punched, but that's clearly not the adjective to use. Sigh.

Once punched, I suppose it could be dormant.

I went with "incredibly manly" as a placeholder. I'll either fix it in editing or miss it in editing and laugh a lot later.

111 words and sat on my porch, adjusted my attitude while blowing bubbles, then read a short Jim Butcher story as a treat. In a real book.

I'll probably keep on writing after fic rush is over. I'm getting a head start on a minibang and charity auction story.
