Round 23, Hour 1

And Beth is stuck in The Traffic Jam from Hell. 

But that doesn't mean we have to sit around and twiddle our thumbs!  This is Missy, Beth's partner, and she's called to ask me to get the Rush started.  So sharpen your keyboards, boot up your pencils, turn off the capslock key on your pens and let's get the party underway!

Round 23, Hour 2

Onward, ever onward, through the storms of words, battling our way through the waist-high drifts of commas, apostrophes, semi-colons and hyphens, avoiding the deep Pit of Overused Metaphors and steering well clear of the seductive call of the Research Vampire ("Just five minutes on TVTropes!  Just five, I swear!"), never weary, never daunted, writing, writing, writing . . .

Beth is here, safe and sound but too drained after two and a half hours on the road to post right away, so this is Missy again.   How's it going for everyone?  Managing to keep ahead of the weather?

Round 23, Hour 3

I'm here!  I'm here!  This is Beth, home safe after the Commute from Hell.

It got reeeeally quiet here last hour.  I hope no-one else is stuck in traffic?  *worried*

Round 23, Hour 4

No-one seems to be stuck in traffic, although some of us are stuck in our writing.  Anyone want a stick?  A glowstick?  Sticky tape?  A sticking plaster?  Or will you stick to it regardless?

Round 23, Hour 5

And it's already Hour 5!  A fine hour, known for odd practices and pranks.  Seek out the writerly pasta!  Beware the Time Chicken!
