It's alright. I think everyone was asleep during those last couple hours anyway. lullabymoon already said she could handle all of tonight.
I think the only way to see it legally from here is to wait 2-3 weeks after the conversation is dead and the spoilers aren't considered spoilers, and also, buy satellite plus some premium packages. For one show. That runs barely three months. I checked, and that other network that I'm boycotting because they hate women (and gamers, and people who watch scifi, and people who used to watch their shows back when they didn't suck) doesn't even carry it anymore. Just BBC America.
Oh, I know - iPlayer is fantastic. Ever since I moved to England I've become a spoilt brat when it comes to Doctor Who. You know how it is - once you have it, you want moar!! :D
Well, the license is so expensive here, and I got used to watching everything on my computer back when I lived in a country that aired The Next Doctor last week.
True story: this tuesday I wanted to watch something, and I was seriously worried that I couldn't remember how to change to the right channel.
:D Just goes to show, though, how many great things there are on telly! 0_0
I bet the cable bill for the TV I'm not watching, which is mandatory in order to also get broadband in my area, costs as much as a lisence fee. And anyway, I thought iPlayer was by broad groups of IPs, so you don't actually have to pay for TV to use it.
Oh, yes yes. iPlayer is just on the BBC website, so it's free. :)
And it sounds like your internet deal really sucks :( Can't you get broadband just on its own? Or does it have to be carried by the cable in your area?
I can't afford to move to the city. There's only one company's cables running all the way out here, and everything else is phone lines. There's satellite that might be faster, except for when it doesn't work because of bad weather or interruption from airplanes and stuff, which is probably all the time anyway. Plus I don't like there being any more things beaming around than there need to be.
Yeah, these things could fry your brain. And ooooh. :( that DOES suck. They keep on promising the world this great technology, but somehow no one ever seems to be able to get past the small print!

I want iPlayer. :( Even if it is stupidly slow.
