We have 37 different kinds of cookies available, some herring-flavoured for the benefit of the penguins.  We have 37 different kinds of beverage, ranging from the innocuous to the potentially explosive.  We have 37 different kinds of wildlife lurking in the shrubbery, so be careful where you set your plate or glass.  And we're getting ready for 37 different kinds of mayhem!

Oh fic-rushers!!! It sounds like there is wonderful editing and writing and procrastinating going on in the world of fic-rush. I myself am procrastinating by watching old Star Trek Next Generation episodes. Isn't it amazing to return to something you haven't seen or read in more than a decade and relearn how much you love it!

Here we are, approaching the first 1/6th of the fic rush. I have a dozen songs in my mind, and yet none of them are appropriate for this moment.

So I will instead say this. I am writing. Words. Unexpected words. Words in a fandom I haven't written in for well over six months.
