Announcing Hour IV!!  Which, true to its name, is covered with pretty green vines that are a bitch to prise off.  We're hoping for grapes, though.

Um. I have achieved alpha-level procrastination. (http://new.livestream.com/FosterKittenCam/RipleysKittens) I am going to watch kittens for a few minutes more and then take some inspiration from my last hour's research and start with the smut.

For I find that I have lied to you.

I said the slightly-smutty bits were already written, but then I realized that there was no way they were going to wake up in the morning and not want some it's-practically-a-honeymoon-after-all nookie. ~200 words worth.

Now they'll have hearty appetites for that breakfast scene! :-D

Given that Almanzo Wilder was eating them in 1885 (although not as a morning-after breakfast, at least not in the books) I'm sure they were still around in 1922.

I'm resting and knitting on an afghan before I commence the third in my trilogy of prompt-lists - assuming there are 10 or more poems in The Return of the King. If there aren't, I'll just have to put TTT and ROTK in a list together. ;-)

(I'm knitting the Beekeeper's Quilt (http://tinyowlknits.wordpress.com/2011/07/29/the-beekeepers-quilt/), which I always swore I'd never make but apparently you don't sew it? You tie it at the corners with quilt-ties. And the little individual "hexapuffs" are adorable and small enough that I quite often have the energy to do just one more row on one, so... :D)
