Round 30, Hour 5

It is Hour 5, the hour in which AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN.  Occasionally, this hour will actually launch itself into space and time, roaming the universe and defeating the Forces of Evil.  It's just that awesome.

We have familiar faces and new faces and funny faces with big fake moustaches!  Okay, maybe I made that last one up.

So, now, DO SOMETHING AMAZING!  Also, have some cake. Or pie.  Or both!

Hellooo! Happy Rushiversary, peoples! This is your emergency stunt mod dropping in for the fabulous isdon_isgood9, who has been forced to leave us (temporarily). It is not known whether glowsticks, alien fish, ninja penguins, or words were involved.

I have no gifs, but I hope the writing is going well? Is anybody here?

I'm going to post this, but then I will edit it with celebratory rushiversary pics. (Celebratory pics in this case meaning anything vaguely happy in my Photobucket. It will therefore probably baffle the world with wilful obscurity and sad lack of penguins.)

I've been in close conference all afternoon with Sir A.C. Doyle, but he's granted me a few hours to perform my duties here at the Rushiversary.

How have you been doing so far? Have you been celebrating the Rushiversary by writing?

I... haven't. For the first time in months, I'm actually NOT writing on the weekend but just wasting it doing nothing in particular. That's sort of celebratory activity, isn't it? Doing something special? Right? Right?!

I should be concerned about fic, but instead I am concerned about my laptop, which is prone to overheating. Ah well, in 2 months I'm in a country that actually has a proper lab service for my laptop (and a whole month for the insurance left!) and let the nice people in the lab have a look at it.

This is my last post, after which I will leave you in the very capable hands of chibifukurou  who is in need of a pretentious title.

I'm very impressed with all the amazing writing today. Also, it's been a pleasure to be surrounded
by so many unfamiliar faces, though I am sure that these are all old campaigners and that it is I
who am the newbie.
 
So let's keep those fics, challenges, drabbles, chapters, and novels coming! Fresh water on the
boil for coffee or tea, and a supply of asiago bagels! Because writers cannot live on ink alone;
they require stimulating beverages and yummies!
