'Ello, Rushiversary!

How have you been doing so far? Have you been celebrating the Rushiversary by writing?

I... haven't. For the first time in months, I'm actually NOT writing on the weekend but just wasting it doing nothing in particular. That's sort of celebratory activity, isn't it? Doing something special? Right? Right?!

I ended up writing 334 words for au_bigbang (I already wrote my first draft and hated it, so I'm doing another draft I can like editing).

I'm getting food, so I may not be able to get wordage in.

Also, for some reason, while logging on here I got the Russian LiveJournal intro page, which scared me.

Eep @ the Russian LJ. It happened to me too, but I figured most of the people who use LJ in my country *are* Russian speakers so it made sense. But now, maybe not...

I think time spent wallowing in idleness is a fine way to celebrate ANYTHING.

I am awake, I have espresso, the first load of laundry is in the wash, and LJ is actually not glitching on me at this precise moment. And I got 400 words written last night!

And we have lots of shiny new people, because lullabymoon pimped the comm to great effect! Yay Jenni!!

Posted a fic that was supposed to be a quick thing before I continue writing Big Bang fic, but it turned out that quick thing basically ate my whole day. Damn! *fail*
But the little fic is posted, so that's something!
Now I have to clean a bit, dust bunnies are circling.

Posting fic really DOES eat the whole day. Happens to me every time :| (especially when you start hitting refresh and hoping for reviews :D)

Oh, I do that refresh thing! Especially since my last fic was a bust comment/kudos wise, and that dampened my spirits because well, I'm self-centered writer and I want praise! :D
But it's good to finish something, comments or no :)
