Excellent! I am excited too! This round of Fic_Rush is absolutely thrumming with new (to me) faces and everyone is being so productive. It's inspiring!

I'm glad you are here. There's an awful lot of inspiring energy surging around here, and we need as many people to soak it up as possible. Be a shame to overload the internets with excess brilliance!

I've also managed another 500 words, pushing me over my 5k goal for the whole weekend. I'm pretty darned pleased with that, gotta say.

Of course, knowing me I'll just set myself a goal to do as well tomorrow :P

I think I'll keep going for a little while longer, possibly with the aid of another sugary drink :)

To the untrained eye, there appears to be a trail of leaves leading to the pantry. Mr. Holmes is convinced that it actually leads away from the pantry, toward the kettle, and past an empty box of cookies.

So I managed to get my walls of clocks hung and re-hung as I needed to, and I also got the drawers to the dresser I'm going to garage sale out of my guest room and into my living room. Then I change out/replaced the missing drawer pulls and put the drawers into dresser in the garage. So yeah progress though I didn't any writing done at all. Course now I've put in Hurt Locker for the first time which probably won't help my writing productivity. But as it is totally Jeremy Renner centric it still counts as research so there.

I wrote 284 words. This is frankly more than I expected to get written, since my mind doesn't seem to be in the game today.

All I can think about now is FOOD. The yogurt and salad from earlier in the day ain't cuttin' it, lol.

I'm leaning towards Kentucky Fried Chicken, just because no other options hold any attraction atm. I don't feel like cooking...not that there's anything around to cook. So I will place myself in the Colonel's hands. (Sanders, not O'Neill.)

I'm about done with my break, did my errends, watered plants, watched Kung Fu with my husband and crotcheted at the same time, so it wasn't totally just spacing out with the TV.

I also made yummy peach milkshakes. So, so, good, but I'm sleepy now. My neighbor is coming around sometime this evening so I still need to do a bit of cleaning, but I should be able to get a little more writing in.

I did do some research on the Avengers, found a couple of great meta research posts on how Bruce, Steve, and Natasha use verbal and body language. Very helpful.
