Breaking in my new laptop. I'm tempted to count typing and retyping my info and pswds as wordcount! However, the thing is starting to take shape at last.

My cat Zaphod is staring at me. I mean, really staring. It's kind of unnerving. I've never felt like a toy mouse before, but it must be something like this...

Who's getting some writing done? I'm about to start episode 125 of Dark Shadows. Vicky is in the hands of the mad killer Matthews. Sure wish Barnabus would show up, but he's not due for a few dozen more episodes.

So, how is going with the 'Rush? Are there words? Pictures? Are things being eaten? Has anyone seen my penguin?

And while pitry is unfortunately not here, it is the chance to let the bonsai giraffes loose if you need a mini-sized pest to force you to write.

Wow! This afternoon has flown past! It's almost time for me to hand over the reins. But don't worry! You'll be in very safe hands.

Sid is making me hungry, talking about beer and steak. I'm going foraging in the kitchen... tell me how the writing, and everything else, is going!

I got rung up by my family and then went in search of possible chocolate.

How about you? Are there more words? Just where did my penguin get to? Come to that, I'm afraid that while I wasn't looking the bonsai giraffes escaped as well...

How has this hour been for you?

I hear that words have been written, research has been conducted, snacks have been eaten, and I have chocolate - and the power of fic_rush has gone to my head! BWA HA HAHAHAHAHA!!

Yes. I found out where they hid the maniacal laughter.

Also, to abuse said powers for a moment, someone once asked me for fic_rush icons. Would that be allowable (Mod of Mods)... and what should they say on them? Would the in-jokes terrify the rest of the world? Should they merely feature enigmatic penguins?

(I have myself written 4 words today, on icons. Also posts and comments, but I was trying to make my previous paragraph a little more on topic.)

In the meantime, I am off to bed, but your next mod should appear soon. I trust. This is your emergency stunt mod packing up her parachute and going. If I am called upon another time, I will try to include more exciting emergency stunts.

So, words have been written, technology has been awkward and people generally think there should be fic_rush icons!
