We have coffee!  I've had breakfast!  I do not have any giraffes at the moment, but I'll do my damndest to get some if anyone needs them.

I'm waffling between distracting myself with useless browsing, and starting my laundry.

Laundry. Definitely laundry. It's so useful it doesn't even count as procrastination, so you can write like crazy after it's started, like you'd planned it that way.

Coffee. I wrote a paragraph. I may write another. I may have to dump the incredibly silly part of the stupid fight scene... ah well, it will turn up again and the fight scene will still be plenty stupid.

A fight scene narrated by Mrs. Peel would be fun. Maybe that's tomorrow's writing exercise.

This weekend is all process; I don't really have what it takes to worry about product!

395 words, and I've drunk a cup of chai tea.

I also asked for an extension of the big bang I'm doing. First time that I've doubted I can meet a writing deadline, but the story hasn't been beta'ed yet and I can't ask a person to beta a story this long in two days.

We shall see. Plan B is to do a short story based on the art prompt that I probably can get done and beta'ed and revised by the deadline.

Now it's time for a pot of coffee. My husband and I make our coffee different so we take turns getting custody of the coffee maker.

I'm awake! After much unintended oversleeping! But now it is time for errands and lunch. Then I have a DVD waiting to be watched, a fic waiting to be started, and a book crying to be opened.

And a LOT of cleaning to do. :/

Meanwhile, I've sent the ninja penguins into the plothole for a bit of reconnaissance, because you never know what you might find there.
