I am not sure that it is actually a legitimate time for me to be awake, but here I am, asking how your round 23 is going... and making big eyes in the hopes that the universe will see fit to provide coffee without me having to move.

Hello rushers! I'll be your (somewhat sleepy atm) host for the next few hours.

Hour 40! Coffee finally materialized. How did hour 29 treat you? Has anyone seen the time chicken around lately?

Anyone else up and writing? Or are we all having problems with lj?

Coffee, tea, toddy, soup? What's your poison for Hour 41? Or is it poison? Did the butler do it?

Six hours to go! Are we pulling our own hair, or other peoples? Is there a stick sharp enough to motivate you? Shall I shake some glowsticks loose?

We're now 3/4 of the way through the round! How goes things?

Whee! Five hours to go, it's time to put the pedal to the metal and get some writing cranked out. Watch out for falling verb tenses.

My last hour hosting today. How goes the writing/plotting?

Hour 44. The countdown is on. The end is night. But not that night. Still plenty of time to finish the great Earthian novel. Keep going!

I don't know about you, but I need a glowstick. Or a kick in the tail.

Ah! What a feeling it is to open up an old fic that has been posted for years and read by unseen masses... and see all the hideous errors that nobody ever mentioned and for some reason I didn't see at the time! Ack!

Long ago, I used to write so much and so fast that no living Beta Reader could keep up with me. Indeed, I never bothered with betas, preferring to post immediately and let my readers point out the glaring errors. Most of my readers were very forgiving and writing as insanely quickly as I was myself. So. I guess I can find solace in the fact that this story is so old that it has fallen to the remote, unseen lists of ff.n that are never accessed anymore.

We have writing, we have tasking. We have knitted noodles. We may even have noodled Knits! How goes your work?
