Recent developments suggest that the Large Hadron Collider has suffered a malfunction and is now infested with mongooses and platypi.  The Fabric of Time is showing signs of wear and tear, and also some stains that will require dry cleaning.  What will become of us?

The plot thickens!  Time Breaks and mysterious notes have been spotted on people's journals!  Mongooses have not been spotted, as they are usually a solid colour.

Have words begun to collect?  To coagulate, to appear, to manifest as tiny spots of pixeliciousness on your screens, or pads of paper, or the cuffs of handy shirts?

All was quiet in fic_rush. Off in the distance, icons were being made, possibly with words on. Elsewhere, there was only silence, except for one lonely place where there was the sound of quiet clacking on a keyboard . . .

Wait, is that clacking, or quacking? Could it be the sound of ducks coming closer? Or is it perhaps penguins? What do penguins sound like? More to the point, what do alien ninja penguins sound like?

Whoops, time is getting away from me. Must be the fish nunchucks that the ninja penguin was wielding.

I am jet lagged and feeling hungry even though it's not a meal time here yet. Unless it's time for afternoon tea? Yes, that must be it. I shall pretend I'm still in London and go for afternoon tea.

Unfortunately, my body seems to think it's still in London.

But fic_rush can conquer! It's Hour 24, which means we are almost at the halfway point. What will happen this hour? Will there be words written? Showers taken? Penguins overthrown? Mongooses mongoosing? Will I manage to stay awake until Hour 25? Stay tuned to find out!
