Round 19, Hour 16

Recent developments suggest that the Large Hadron Collider has suffered a malfunction and is now infested with mongooses and platypi.  The Fabric of Time is showing signs of wear and tear, and also some stains that will require dry cleaning.  What will become of us?

Other than that, how's the writing going?

I am NOT doing the dry cleaning! I got back from work (at the Dry Cleaners) late enough as it is, and I'm in a right cranky mood, so no more writing for me. I'm going to go and watch some Jonathan Creek...

I'm sorry. The time business is all my fault. I started watching Sapphire and Steel, and then I had a mysterious Time Break that occurred when I found an inexplicable note with a date on it in my pocket.

I did think it had been sorted, however, and didn't mean to bring it with me to fic_rush. It was probably down to the penguins and the Doctor and all the general timey-wimeyness that acted as triggers.

(There is no writing other than this comment, though. I managed to do a tiny snippety bit yesterday for the first time in weeks.)

I might have known it was your doing... As I said the other day, I've only ever seen one episode of Sapphire and Steel, but it was pretty creepy and unsettling stuff - I hope there'll be none of that sort of thing going down here!

Well, see, I didn't know where the paper had come from and the date meant nothing to me - it wasn't clear whether it was in the past or the future! But I had thought I had finished with it, but something got into the corridor of time. Obviously. I will find a ninja aardvark to clear it up.

And, yes, it is! I think a drabble next, because I think I may have still gone a little hyper over the effort. (This one was about 600 words, and it had Eleven and Tilly. It is... not very exciting at all and highly self-indulgent... and available to any interested parties on my LJ right now. :-p)

I don't think it's entirely your fault, since the time issues started last night, when I forgot which time zone I was in (and, apparently, what year it was).

I think the Large Hadron Collider leaked all over the Fabric of Time and Space . . . that must be where those stains came from. *frowns*

And yay for snippety bits! Just getting a snip of words after a dry spell is wonderful.
