I'm working on a Very Very Fancy needlework project, mostly gold and silver embroidery work on velvet, featuring several stitches I've never done before (plaited braid stitch, detached buttonhole, and laidwork). I've been working on an outline, after which I'll be filling in the dimensions and the details . . . which could also describe the writing process if I were writing!
