On the plus side, I can now have dinner and hey, maybe I'll watch MacGyver!  Since I haven't done so yet this evening.

It was like listening to someone telling a story about MacGyver, but they had never actually watched the show beyond the opening creds. And no epilogue? or did I just pass out too early from the pain.

There was an epilogue, sort of -- they decided to move the DXS (all three of them) to a new building and rename themselves the Phoenix Foundation. Because the DXS had been cleverly disguised as a think-tank! And it is now all compromiseded waah.
