Round 78, Hour 1
Aug. 19th, 2016 08:39 pmWelcome to Round 78! I got home late. How about you?
A review of the ground rules:
- One post per hour.
- If more than one person posts in a given hour, the first post wins.
- - - the "first post" is defined by whichever one shows up as the first post to hit the comm.
- If you lose a posting race, you must delete your redundant post. You are encouraged to congratulate the winnerand then plot their downfall.
- If you win a posting race, please keep your gloating to a reasonable level.
- - - As victor, you get to decide how much gloating is reasonable.
- You may not rig a usurpation by using a pre-scheduled post, because that would be the wrong kind of evil.
- - - You may set up pre-scheduled posts for periods when it doesn't look like there will be anyone else posting.
- Try to keep track of which hour it is when you title your posts. Use this convenient Master Schedule Lookup Table to help.
- - Hours 12, 24, and 36 have been pre-assigned as "anchor posts", in hopes of keeping us on track or at least helping us get back on track if/when we wander.
- - Excess timey-wimeyness may be added to your breakfast drink as a nutritious supplement.
- - If you leave cracks in the universe, please spackle and re-paint before you go.
- If you write or create or otherwise accomplish stuff, you get a free ninja penguin. This penguin will continue to be free in spite of the fact that it's yours.
- - If you received a ninja penguin in a previous round, you are permitted extra penguins as long as you remember to feed them.
- - - At the end of the round, all our ninja penguins will get together and have a great big parade.
- - - Unfortunately, no one will be able to see the parade, because ninjas, but hey, it'll be fun anyway.
- Have fun, and let's all write and create and stuff!
