Date: 2010-06-06 01:33 pm (UTC)I haven't actually looked at what I wrote by hand last night, nor typed it into the compy and gotten a word count - I think I will get breakfast first o.O - but I did write stuff. I'm guessing about 300 words, on the question "Tell about the advantages and disadvantages of your education and also describe a formative experience" (I am paraphrasing slightly).
What happened was that I re-read the paper I wrote snarking about my history book last year, which is my "formative experience" story - this college is big on thinking for yourself - and wound up not only amusing myself vastly (I wrote it on an all-nighter and it contains lines such as "numbers rounded because I don't expect four-tenths of a Spaniard to keep killing people for that long") but also finding my nonfiction narrative voice again! I hope.
Now I am off to eat breakfast and then type this up and see if it's still any good. *fingers crossed*
