Date: 2016-06-26 02:40 pm (UTC)I'm a bit frazzled because the pattern piece from my block came out just fine, and I have no idea how I did that, or why everything else seems like pulling teeth to get to line up right.
That's just basic "work we didn't finish in class", then I have homework on moving darts around.

I saw your comment about putting a water bottle in the freezer -- try leaving it in for about half an hour. When you take it out, tip it upside down. If you hit the time just right, it turns into a slushie! It's REALLY neat, as well as wonderfully cold.
(If you don't hit it just right, try varying the time. In my fridge, it takes about 30 minutes if the water is already at fridge temperature when I put it in the freezer, but I have to put it in the back of the freezer, not the front.)
