Oh, I feel you - my neighbour smokes, and depending the day, the smell gets right in my apartment D:

Oddly enough, hubby and I are smokers (and I have a sensitive nose!), but when I come BACK into the house after being away for any length of time, I generally can't smell it. I prefer for my house to smell like 'hotel'. Neutral. Non-garlicky would be preferred, but not up to me, unfortunately, lol!
