Date: 2016-06-25 12:22 pm (UTC)Funny cat news: We have the softest, sweetest, fluffiest, dumbest cat. But she's very single minded. And I'm very single minded. So sometimes in the morning, I get up, and she's in the hallway outside my partner's room wanting attention. And I want to give that cat scritches. But her end-game is to get me to follow her into my partner's room to wake up her preferred human, which I want to avoid. So we play this game where I inch closer saying "Shhh" and she sharks around occasionally meowing crossly and trying to get me to follow her into the bedroom. Very "Timmy's fallen down the well." Usually I give up and walk away and get some more cross meowing. Occasionally she'll let me get close enough to scoop her up and snuggle her without waking everyone else in the house up.
