Date: 2016-06-25 12:25 am (UTC)I don't know if I'll get any writin' done this time around, but I will definitely get some sewin' in. I have almost finished the chemise with the EPIC sleeves! Just a bit more tweaking and another ton or two of beads!
In my own drinkin' news, I have been exploring many many wonderful craft stouts and porters, and a bunch of herbal liqueurs. I have just discovered amaro. Y DID NOBUDDY TELL ME ABOUT AMARO B4?!?

Date: 2016-06-25 12:29 am (UTC)Huh! I've only had Amaro as a part of mixed drinks at swank places that use many ingredients. It's good on its own?
EPIC SLEEVE YES!!1! Will there be pictures?

Date: 2016-06-25 12:43 am (UTC)Re Amaro: I rarely have mixed drinks, and I have a deep love for complex, intense, potent tipples that bite back. (Bear in mind that I drink absinthe straight.) I basically found out that one type of this kind of thing I love has a name and a whole genre, and it's called Amaro.
When you drink something black
And it bites you right back
That's Amaro . . .

Date: 2016-06-25 01:23 am (UTC)I even invented a new drink recently, thanks to this Washington distillery: https://brovospirits.com/
I had read about them some years back, and finally checked to see if they shipped out of state. That's actually where I learned about Amaro! I'd had my eye on their lavender liqueur (which turns out to be WONDERFUL over French vanilla ice cream), but I also got a small bottle of the Douglas fir liqueur. If you mix roughly half and half Douglas fir liqueur and St. Germaine elderflower liqueur, you get this amazing concoction that I have dubbed "Yggdrasil".
