*yawns massively* I'm not actually awake, but I scribbled about twenty words in the middle of the night, which was the skeleton of a new take on a scene that's been kicking my tail for ages, so I've succeeded at Writing During Fic_Rush. ^_^ Later today I expect to help my aunt move brush out of the yard and possibly do more research on this fic (it's in a video game fandom, so playing through the same reference scenes a zillion times is a wearying but necessary part of the job).
I woke up, my internet was back (network crash over here for my ISP) and I'm getting ready to have coffee and get the kiddos breakfast. I was wanting to sleep in, but it seems they had other ideas, lol!!
I did. My ISP went out (for everyone...they even had a recorded message) around 6pm. I turned to hubby and said 'Of course! I'm modding at Rush tonight and lolmac is gonna either strangle me or stop scheduling me if it doesn't come back on.' As you can guess...it didn't come back on, lol!! I went to bed at 2am and it was still out. No phone, no net...nadda. So massive apologies!! I was so stoked to mod and it was a bust. *Headdesk*

Last Rush I was so wiped and kept missing (and man, was I mad about it) so I was really hoping I could get my modly duties done last night - but it seems AT&T had other ideas. We're okay, though. It could have been way worse (especially with no phone but my cell, which has been known to go wonky), so I'm rather glad it was a quiet night. Doubly glad my net is back!
I have been writing instead of having lunch! This is probably actually not a plan, but definitely a yay for fic rush? I wrote for the Flavour (word) of the Day at runaway_tales (complaisant).
1165 words, and now I need lunch and either a lie down or some editing, depending on how big a headache I just gave myself...
