Dishes are more or less done (!), so now I can start on the actual cooking portion. This is why I don't cook often; it's a whole day affair.

Speaking of affairs, what taudry dealings are happening in your works right now? I would like all the tea, please!

Tea sounds like a great idea.

So far, 950 words on the oneshot, which is rapidly becoming angsty, but then again, it is about the Blacks, so what do you expect? *shrugs*

I will go now and finish up some things that desperately needs to be done before this day is over, and then I'm back to writing!

I have been for a long walk (4 miles!) and my story idea has perculated nicely. 302 words have since been written of it!

(Shame its not any of the stories I'm meant to be writing this weekend but what can you do?!)

I'm still busy trying to work out how my POV character is experiencing his first tentacle sex. Well, how to express how he's experiencing it at least.

My basic problem is I can never resist a challenge. I should get that seen to...

While I love to cook and like to think I'm pretty good at it I'm bribing myself to get this story beaten into shape with the promise of a lovely dinner out with friends at a place that makes bloody marvellous cocktails.

Finished the writing hour - hunting frantically for the handwritten draft of the other story I'm going to be working on (looked through 4 notebooks, finally found it in the first one I looked in), chatted about Life On Mars, typed up story, adding a couple of new words (yay, words!) and posted it to the AO3 collection.

Now back to the scrapbooking, cats permitting!
