I hope that's not my only achievement of the day, though, because I really do need some dissertation words.
Let me know about your breakfasts, words, plans, and anything else you have to share.

Date: 2016-03-27 09:30 am (UTC)(I confirmed that a character I'm working with has an Arabic first name and Italian last name. Now i have to figure out how I'm going to integrate that with him being voice-acted by a white guy from London. I mean, I like it when everybody in The Future (tm) is mixed-race, I just... casting. Ethics. Whitewashing. Being pretty sure that this character was originally meant to be voiced by an actor of color then changed because Brown People Can't Have British Accents -- Julian Bashir would like to have several words with you on that topic, but I digress -- but not being sure if it's okay either to actively racebend a character in an otherwise canon-compliant piece or to leave a character whitewashed when literally all I'd have to do is say he has brown skin to make him a nice realistic mixed-race cockney instead of a confusingly named white guy.)
