It's one of the only stage directions Shakespeare ever noted and it comes out of nowhere. We staged The Winter's Tale when I was a Drama undergraduate and ever since my mates from those days sign off every card, every email with "Exit pursued by a bear." There's no way I could resist that icon. :D

That is cruel!! The least you could do is keep her prisoner in a fully equipped craft studio! Or lock her in the storage cupboard as tradition demands. Pffffhhht!!

A talented penguin could certainly find plenty of things to craft with at a fish processing factory, so if we were penguins we wouldn't understand why Ms. Idlewild couldn't just do some sardine bone scrimshaw or something!
