Round 71, Hour 18

I love it when stress baking is an already-scheduled part of my to-do list, because then I can lower my anxiety AND be productive! Except I need to go to the store in a bit to get some ingredients but that's neither here nor there.

How are your projects shaping up? I've heard rumors of words being wrangled, beads being seeded, foodstuffs being obtained; has this hour been equally wondrous?

A bit of scribbling ... uggghhh why is writing hard? I'm currently in outlining abstract emotional beats to hit in this section of the story, but then I need to build out the concrete framework of action and dialogue in which they take place. NOOOOO.

that's such an interesting process, I feel like I outline the other direction, but maybe not... I've never thought about it!

It's not my usual process, but this story is structured in four parts, three of which are pre-series, and the fourth is an episode response vignette. So the emotional beats are playing off the three pre-series story parts, and then the episode, but what actually happens in it is still to be determined. By me. The writer. Augh. How to get where I'm going without just landing in fanon cliche is at issue.

Finally, I'm here, ready to write. Maybe. Maybe not. We will see. For the moment, my mind still feels frozen, after my heat died down yesterday. Thankfully it has started to work again, but it's still cold, cold, coooold. Maybe I should go to bed and cuddle under a thick blanket.

But, no, wait, it's fic_rush and I really, really want to write. At least 50 words per hour = 50x48 = 2400 words ... I guess I should stop babbling and finally open the folder.
