I've moved on for now from the treat to the Secret Santa, and got a couple hundred or so words in on that.

I've already made a quite a good inroad into my target for the weekend - hope I can keep it up!

They mock me...then whine when I abandon them for months on end to sob about how I've 'lost my touch' and 'where did the love go?!' before finding said love under the bed with the dustbunnies, where it always seems to cower from the vacuum that is my mind. *CACKLES* So..prolly better search there then...armed with the hose-sucky-thingie (just in case). If you have a spare eraser on the pencil, it could come in handy!

Also I just checked the wiki for the fandom where I thought I'd remembered the plot point wrong and found out that the author had tossed himself to the plot point I do remember, so I'm going to keep right on with the story that I started ::whew::
