Round 69, Hour 46

Hour 46 and my last hour modding for this round is upon us. Progress has been made! Words have been written! Or at least planned!

But we writers cannot live by our words alone! What did you have for lunch, what are your plans for dinner? I’ve got a bowl of spicy (very spicy, in fact, a little too spicy) corn & black bean chowder, and a pint of local organic ale. Both will help me make more words, I’m sure!

What yummy food and beverages do you have to hand to see you through the end of Round 69?

I ate the last of the apple crumble I made for thanksgiving before band practice descended on our kitchen/dining area. I have no idea what we'll have for dinner, but I hear them wrapping up down there.

Your chowder sounds good! I imagine we'll have something legume-ish for dinner. Meanwhile, I have to revise the hotdog in Vienna portion of the story I quoted a few lines from last hour.

I just spent the past hour researching pistachios and now I want some, but alas there are none.

Also writing in verse is tiring. But I got 140 words out, so that's nice.

I don't know, but I did. I had tea, and I forgot to drink it and it went cold, and then I went and got more tea, and just forgot that beer was supposed to happen. I did remember to drink the second cup of tea, though!

Lunch was roast pork with a veggie mix I made - cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, bit of garlic salt, toss a can of condensed cream of broccoli over it for sauce, and sprinkle a lot of grated cheese over it when it's done. Om nom nom! I don't think I'll need to eat dinner tonight b/c I am extremely full!

I did some typing on the other fic, and have 1200 words typed up from rough now. So, now I just need to go to bed and maybe see if I can scribble a few Yuletide words down. Maybe...
