I am currently gearing up to make a run to the store, then pretend to research by watching Doctor Who.

I have been playing with the idea of signing up for NaNo in some form. Or at least, making some wordy commitment for November. Technically that is not writing, but more of a ruminating on it...maybe it counts for a cookie?

LOL!! Thank you!! I attempted NaNo two years ago (it was a bust), but I figure giving another go (even if slightly smaller) won't hurt. And maybe I'll actually hit the NaNo limit itself! As for procrastination...I'll be happy to look, but I generally need NO help in that area, lol!!

I ate dinner and narrowed my yuletide requests down further. One or two fandoms I want to check out then it's time for a break I think. Those dishes won't wash themselves unfortunately!

Ah yuletide... I'm one of those people who looks at is every year and then gets completely overwhelmed and confused by the complexity of the process. And then I go sign up for a bunch of plain-old fic exchanges in my fandom instead.

I've spent the last few hours catching up on a podcast, then I made dinner - and discovered that my landlady has left a tub of wet bed linen in the middle of the floor in the bathroom? She is so strange. Still, I have pizza. Maybe words later tonight? We'll see.

I am on, I think, the 7th load of laundry. We have groceries, we've had lunch, the car is unloaded, and it appears that the new neighbours we never did have a chance to talk to before this may be gay. (There's a major language barrier, but the signs are all there.)

Am very impressed with your laundry success! I'm just back from a Quilting event (so my truck is still full of quilts) which we hold annually at a country inn / B&B run by a gay couple who have been together for 37 years!

The irony is that, when they had first moved in and were having a very noisy Noche Buena party until all hours, I really wanted to go ask them to please be a bit more considerate -- but this is south Florida, and the worry that the new neighbours might be heavily armed homophobes kept me back.

I've just got back from the store - got some chocolate and also a few unimportant things (food for dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow :D )

Now I need to sit down and writewritewrite the story I've been jotting down notes for today, because it was telling itself in my head while I was walking back from the store and I need to GET ALL THE WORDS WRITTEN DOWN BEFORE I FORGET THEM!!! ::panic::
