I got caght up responding to my last post when I shoulda been writing a new one!

I like the productivity I'm seeing here. I know the question has probably already been addressed, but who's thinking about going for NaNoWriMo this year? I haven't for a long time, and I'm not planning on doing it again anytime soon. If only I had the time and the 'juice' to try again!

I'm going to be focusing on working through some sewing projects in November. I don't really have any ideas for NaNo so... alas. I might try to do the "write a bit every day" thing.

I'm planning to go for NaNo if I can pick some characters or something to start with. My current plan is "fifty thousand words of cuddlefluff", which at least has the advantage of not making me worry about getting through a plot at a certain speed, but I haven't even decided who's gonna be cuddling yet... ;S

Everybody cuddles everybody by turn sounds like a good solution to me! ;-)

I am doing fifty thousand words, I think? But not of any one thing in particular and I am counting pre-writing as a part of my wordcount. SO it's NaNo-ish? Vaguely NaNo? I don't even know.

I wound up sleeping for a few hour, woke up at :00 and realized I had an exchange fic due in an hour and had not gotten a beta. SO I did a quick readover myself, cleaned it up a little and sent it in. I have a week before reveals, so I have enough time to get it polished a bit more but I almost did not make it.

I'm doing NaNo, though I'm going to be a NaNo rebel this year and write more than one project. I'm focusing on working on my huge SGA fic that has haunted me for ages (because I honestly think my head will explode if I don't finish the first part soon XD), but I'm going to have some side projects so I don't get burned out and to help alleviate the "I wrote over 50,000 words and I hate 75% of it and will never touch it again!" problem I always end up with for NaNo.

Something 50,000 words long?? No way, not in the foreseeable future!! But I have noticed my word count creeping up to ~5000 words recently, so I'm toying with the idea of signing up for a big bang reasonably soon (AFTER Yuletide!), though I'm not terribly good about coming up with plots unprompted :)

I am going to sign up for [livejournal.com profile] mini_wrimo though - you have to commit to writing a minimum number of words per day for the month. It has to be at least 100, and I think that's what I'll sign up for to be on the safe side.

Today has NOT been a typical writing day for me - thank you everyone here for helping me be so productive! <3

I'm doing [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo, I think - set your own target at whatever you like. (Although in the summer I set 500 words and failed! :-) )
