As for the rest of us...well...I'm more procrastinating than anything else. But that's nothing new and therefore silly of me to report.

How goes it for everyone else out there? Do we have Words? Or dreams that are yet to be words? Or shall we just have cake? Feel free to brag and/or sob to us all in the comments. We have tea and other assorted beverages for every commiseration. *nods*

Well, I have over three thousand words and I'm into the Vietnam War. (Since I started right after the USian Civil War, not too bad...) Just three more chapters to go! After which I think I'll take a break. :D

Well, I have figured out that I'm writing about RFA Air Commodore O'Neill (who is one of the aristocratic Irish O'Neill's and who learned to fly in WWI) and ATA Flight Captain Carter (who was recruited to the women's section in '41 by Pauline Gower) - which means I can now close two of my wiki tabs and go to bed.

I was nudged over in this direction and I think this might be exactly what I need to whittle down some of my towering pile of WIPs a bit. So I thought I'd dip my toe in and say hi! :D

Even though it's almost 6 AM here and I should really be in bed soon. Because the urge to write can't ever come at a comfortable 4 PM or something, of course.

To be fair, the Wraith sort of look like they should be glow-in-the-dark XD Bioluminescent Wraith. Now there's an idea. But I have enough WIPs for now so I'm filing that one away. Maybe for that "if I had written the Wraith" AU I wanted to do. *ponders*

I'm easily swayed! XD But this does sound like a really neat idea for a community. Even if I do keep forgetting to check my LJ communities a lot. XD

...*makes notes about potential bioluminescent mer!Todd for that Still Waters sequel I haven't really done much with yet* ^_^ Not that it actually makes any sense for a mer!Wraith who was around before they went underwater to have evolved bioluminescence for living in the dark deep ocean, but my brain was gonna go to either deep-sea fish or fireflies, and Wraith with glowing butts is more of a crackfic. XD
