Date: 2015-09-20 06:45 pm (UTC)I love exactly that about editing for other people, but I get stuck editing for myself-- I have a very hard time telling what is better, or what works, or any of that. I can't tell the difference between the "better" and "less good" versions when it's something I've written, though I can usually make a good guess when it's someone else.

Sort of like wondering around a bookshop, waiting for a story to choose you but in reverse... sort of like this comment, I started it not really with any direction and apparently this is where it went. Hopefully the fic comes out better ;)
