I got some technical writing done, making extremely careful step by step notes on the sewing project I'm doing. Also the sewing. Now to relax and write something more enjoyable although still detail oriented.

I had to set aside my really cool fiddly sewing project because my back is hurting too much for the stoopage. I'm working on a less exciting, much less fiddly project now.

I don't know how to fix your characters, but I've done some editing and I think might finally have got an awkward fic into shape. (It's already been rewritten completely once; now I've taken it in hand and amalgamated both versions!) I don't know how many words got written as opposed to copied/pasted or deleted, but I think I may finally have shown it who's boss.

(Possibly I'm merely an optimistic.)
