Originally, they were going to let him grow his hair out right away (as a sign that he was a free Jaffa), but that didn't happen. Chris Judge kept bringing it up and bringing it up, and they finally let him stop shaving the head!

And there are just far to many moments of "Hey! It's that Canadian actor!" so I've got a lot of minor character love going on.
