Round 63, Hour 32 (probably)

My understanding of time zones is limited, but I believe it to be Hour 32, and that the Hole in Tyme has stretched further outwards than it should, so I've boldly stepped in!

However, it's also the quietest time of the 'rush - is anyone out there? Do you have coffee/breakfast/words/a desire to head off to bed before you collapse? (delete as applicable)

I am currently achieving the words in this post and also breakfast.

It's 1 AM here and I'm kind of falling asleep. I've spent most of the last hour being totally distracted. One of my MCs is a corporate spy, so I've been reading about what they actually do. So far it does not fit my plot very well. Also it looks like a super boring job. :(

haha don't worry, I'm nowhere near posting something. :P

It's Doctor Who and set in the vaguely-defined future, so I think I'm going to just have my spy the way I want, and not mention that it's totally unrealistic. I mean later in the same fic, there's a time war. Perspective, you know?

But I have learned that I must do this without using the terms "corporate spy" or "corporate espionage", because apparently those actually just mean stalking middle management on Facebook to see who is most likely to accidentally tell you their sales figures if you pretend to be a customer. Yawn.

ETA yeah I'm going to bed now, sorry.

I'm sure Corporate spies are supposed to pass on designs and prices to enemy businesses. I mean, you don't need someone in the building to look at Facebook. Perhaps the 'net is lying to you?

And, aha, if it's DW, yes, you should have whatever you like and blame it on the Daleks/Time War/Universal Reboot. It's the most handwavy canon of them all. (What canon?)
