Greetings and usurpations salutations, my indomitable fic_rushers! :D agirlnamedtruth has been *cough* unavoidably detained, so I'll be your mod for these next three hours. Muahahahahaaaa... *looks around innocently* I have no idea where that evil laughter's coming from, must be air in the pipes. ^_^

How's the writing treating you this fine whatever-it-is-in-your-time-zone? I have ideas but they're all massive AUs that would take far too much work and plot to actually write. (The one where an elegant super-spy played by Helen Mirren or possibly Meryl Streep and a cranky bounty hunter played by Judi Dench have to unwillingly team up to foil some sort of evil something-or-other, and wind up being this epic blend of action movie and older-lesbians chick flick... I really wish I could be bothered to come up with a Big Bad or some sort of plot for it. ;P)

Tell me epic tales of words! Or just comment, it's 1am here and I know Verity's shift is generally super quiet.

I got 485 words and there are only two parts left to my fic!!! Then I'll have to find a beta. I'll need to make sure people other than me can understand my Smallville, X-men, Tower Prep fusion I've created.

Ooh, fusions are the most fun. :D Making them understandable to people who don't have one's own exact overlap of fandoms is indeed a pain, though. :S

Yay for fish and chips! Actually I don't think I've ever had proper fish and chips (being an American and all), but it sounds yummy. :D And yay for having dinner! 485 words is also fantastic work. ^_^

Hi! :D Ooh, being able to write during fic_rush is a rare and marvelous event. ^_^ (I finished a job application just before fic_rush, but nothing since. XD)

I'm actually messing with my sleep schedule on purpose just now -- I've got to start going to bed at 7pm local time and getting up at 4am for a bit, so as to get to my audiologist appointment this Wednesday in good time (it's a 4-hour drive away and at 9 in the morning). Thanks very much for the offer, though, and I'll definitely let you know if I need usurpation! <3

I'm still shuffling through the mess that's my fic files... Apparently I've thought it is a great idea to give files numbers instead of names - not so, past me! How am I supposed to know what I thought back in the 2012... Gah!

Also, I'm getting really tired reading my own stuff, yuk. I'm not good at all in this writing business, doesn't mean I know how to quit though :D

Ooh, re-reading old stuff. :S It's painful enough anyway, because you get better every time you practice writing, and then to have files where you can't even tell what it is without opening it again and again... O_O That might be the main reason I keep needing bigger and bigger hard drives. (Okay, actually it's my photography and gaming habits, but the quantity of old unfinished fic sitting in my documents folder sure can't help. ;P)
