Coding class is coming along well (whew!), kiddos have been tuna-fished, one sandwich has been consumed by yours truly (with a few more hopefully to follow) and all is now right within the world.

Still no Words as of yet, but I am confident that they will Happen.

So how fares it with the rest of you? Have chores been accomplished? Food consumed? Coffee made? Words contemplated/rejected/researched/applied? Let us know!

Coffee is still on offer for those who require it. Gosh knows I do.

I woke up and arranged to go see Into The Woods (the movie) "with" my housemates. The "with" is because three of my housemates (including the toddler) are going to see Night At The Museum 3 and the other two are gonna pick out an action flick or something like that. *shrugs* It works for us, I guess? ^_^ But I have to take a shower first. ;-)

Well, the with is a definite, because as you will not be at the same movie, you will still be in close proximity (in a sense) as you will be at the same location (the cinemas). Seems to work out - and everyone will come out happy. Though I hope the toddler does not do as I did when I was a toddler. As in fully live up to my title and toddle everywhere but to my seat. *chuckles*

Forgive me. My brain has fallen out somewhere I am giddy with incoherence. I blame lack of coffee. And the coding classes. And the lack of coffee.

I have been poking around the old Teaspoon database (Feb 2013) that my friend made for me, trying to figure out how to do things in SQL. No words yet though.

Thou art still accomplishing something. All I have accomplished is more confusion and a headache. *Laughs* Damn, I wish I had the brain for this stuff!

Words will happen, they just have to be properly caffienated and applied to paper. *Grins*

Good luck with the SQL. Forgive me as I step out to look up that term. (told you I don't have the brain for this *g*).

Structured Query Language. A way of getting data out of databases. A bit of a gap in my data munging knowledge that I really should get more familiar with. What kind of coding are you studying?

Ahhh!! I semi-understand that! *GLEES* I may not be as goofy as I think I am!

Website construction/design - though the classes I will be taking in the future (hopefully) are for Front-End Web Development. Which may be a fancy word for the same thing - but at different levels. I guess they are kicking me off with the basics, though if there is something basic about all this, I wish someone would clue me in on it. *Headdesk*

:) Databases are more back end things but you may still run into them in your studies. Are you writing HTML for the construction/design stuff mostly?

Web stuff involves a lot of javascript too... which I find incomprehensible a lot of the time. :(

Mmmm. I do believe you may be right. Though my work will help build databases? Or at least give the databases the ability to gather said information. Maybe. My brain hurts. (It's the disuse. Or maybe the crazy, lol!)

HTML (CSS coding) for navigation and display. It is all set to .html but the coding is about changing the structure and how the browser reads it. We did 'minimal' first (for mobile) and we are 'expanding' and customizing for more complex machines (laptops, tablets, etc). It has something to do with not making the CSS rigid (set pixels) and more fluid (percentages within the information of background, text and imaging). At least, this is the point I'm at now. Don't ask me how I got this far!

Maybe one day I will understand javascript. A lot of the work I'm doing has to be undestood and interpreted by Java for browsers, so maybe I've got the jump on that already...
