The tots are asleep, cute as can be in one big bed, and I'm back to staring at the computer screen. I'm reminded of why I hardly read a book for a decade while my kids were little. I never even thought of trying to write anything, back then, but if I had it would have been hard to carve out the time.


This section has been like slogging through mud. Why so hard, plot and dialog?
