Just diving in for my last usurpation of the day...

I'm making up a fake TV show (again) and trying to write suitable dialogue quotes for characters. I think I'm going to retire to bed with a notebook and write them that way. So only a couple of sentences have happened here. How about everyone else?

71 words and the grass is cut. Now on to cleaning the grill and finishing the potato salad.

Sure. Bring your wife, too. We had hamburgers and chicken cooked on the grill, during a small shower, and potato salad, baked beans and a garden salad. For entertainment, we had two small tots to watch, and a Thomas the Train video.

It was 87 here while I was cutting the grass. If this is cooler than where you are, my sympathies. It's been raining hard for the last two hours.

Yep, it's cooler there than it has been here. It was 88 (with high humidity) by 9 this morning, and 93 by noon. It's plummeted all the way down to 86 now -- just after midnight. With the A/C, we're able to keep the house at 80 during the day.

It does cool off when it rains, although it doesn't stay cool. Still, it's something!
