Haha!!  We have LJ again!  It's been a while since we had a service interruption during a round.  Another alien attack!

Nope. It was either another boring DDOS attack on LJ by the Russian government-backed arm of the Mafia, or else aliens. At least aliens would be interesting!

Nope -- LJ hosts the blogs of most of the prominent anti-government activists in Russia, and refuses to give up their identities or locations. The Russian government regularly tries to take LJ down, since it's the irritating bastion of what little free speech exists there. We used to lose LJ at every Russian election.
